DAC Series – Aluminum Cylinders

DAC Series – Aluminum Cylinders

Description

Capacity: 20 – 150 tons
Stroke: 2.0 – 7.9 inches
Max. Operating Pressure: 10,000 psi (700 bar)

  • Lightweight, Aluminum design for maximum portability
  • 7075-T6 Aluminum alloy components for maximum strength and minimum weight
  • Steel base-plate and saddle for protection against load-induced damage
  • Anodizing treatment plunger, surfaces and inner barrel resists damage and extends cylinder life-span
  • Maximize sized springs increases speed of piston return and increase life-span of spring
  • Composite bearings prevent metal-to-metal contact, increasing cylinder life-span and resistant to side-load
  • Stop ring prevents piston from blowing out
  • DQC-3/8UF coupler and dust cap are included on all models

Features

Aluminum VS. Steel

The difference between Aluminum and Steel is that it has a lower finite fatigue life-span. This means that aluminum cylinders should not be used in high-cycle applications such as production.

DuraJack line of aluminum cylinders are designed to provide 5,000 cycles at their recommended pressure (This limit should not be exceeded).
